Hi everyone, just to let you know that at 1956 BST on 31 July 2008 I achieved my 1700 rating for the first time in my chess career. My current rating is 1705.

You have annotated numerous games here at GK. Apparently this has helped. May you continue to improve. When I first met you here your rating was almost 200 points lower. This is a fantastic improvement but you worked hard for it.

RB If chess pieces could talk, they would be screaming at me something like: "Can't you take a hint, dummy? We're all pointing in one direction – at c3!"
