Wrong IT takes longer on gameknot because it is online but u put ur stongest pieces to incase the king on all sides it wastes alot of ur pawns put is very effictive.

promote as in use If this is what u mean by promote i already told u. these are the pieces that should be surrounding ur king:queen,2 rook,bishop,knight.The rook knight and bishop should be in the front. then the queen doesnt need to be moved.u need to move ur other knight and bishop to do this.after u do that u should have an empty space on one side of ur king
move ur second rook there. u should have lost some of ur pawns as i said.but ur king is completely guarded.(if u have a move where u can take one of ur opponents pieces take that move.)

This King's Block sounds like a terrible plan. You can't just go building a castle around your king with pieces! The castle is supposed to be pawns. And you have to have some consideration for your opponents intentions too. You can't just surround your king with pieces! Maybe I'm not up to date on the latest theory...
